In addition to her books, Rachel’s writing has appeared in The Washington Post, The Independent, and The Salt Lake Tribune.
She also has work published or forthcoming in literary journals such as River Teeth, The Maine Review, Hippocampus, Points in Case, The Carolina Quarterly, Sweet, The Rush, Tupelo Quarterly, The Literary Review, Columbia Journal, Fourth Genre, Psaltery & Lyre, Roads & Kingdoms, and others.
She won first place in contests for Exponent II and Transitions Abroad, placed in the 2021 League of Utah Writers’ nonfiction contest, and has been nominated for a Pushcart Prize.
